Hello Everyone!

As it is the beginning of the school year with some new faces, I thought now would be the perfect time to do "All About Me" posters.

All About Me posters are a fun and creative way for students to introduce themselves to the class while also showing items that could represent the child.

I ask that the parents and guardians help your child in completing their posters, as well as bringing in one or two items that represent your child.

For example, I have two pets cats and they are my favorite animal. To represent that, I would bring in a small cat plushie to show that cats are my favorite animal.

I have sent home a blank copy of the poster for each child as well as a paper bag to put your child's items in.

Grow a Bean in a Bag

We've discussed the essentials plants need to grow (water, air, sunlight, and nutrients from soil).  To further what we have learned in class, I encourage you and your child to try the "Grow a Bean in a Bag" experiment.
