Hello Everyone!

My name is Miss Holisky, and I am super excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year! I am dedicated to creating fun and meaningful learning experiences for your children.

Throughout the year this blog will be used to share any ideas and resources that can be beneficial to you or your child.


The purpose of this blog is to inform and connect students, families, and other educators. With a strong connection between home and school, students are able to thrive and excel in all aspects of life.

All About Me Poster

As it is the beginning of the school year with some new faces, I thought now would be the perfect time to do "All About Me" posters. All About Me posters are a fun and creative way for students to introduce themselves to the class while also showing items that could represent the child. I ask that the parents and guardians help your child in completing their posters, as well as bringing in one or two items that represent your child. For example, I have two pets cats and they are my favorite animal. To represent that, I would bring in a small cat plushie to show that cats are my favorite animal.
